“Isn't it odd how much fatter a book gets when you've read it several times?" Mo had said..."As if something were left between the pages every time you read it. Feelings, thoughts, sounds, smells...and then, when you look at the book again many years later, you find yourself there, too, a slightly younger self, slightly different, as if the book had preserved you like a pressed flower...both strange and familiar.”

Crystal Healing: 2012 And Beyond

In her book, Crystal Healing:  2012 And Beyond. Discovering And Using Rocks, Crystals and Stones In The New Age, Barbara S. Delozier, Msc.D. shows us how to use rocks, crystals and stones to heal our minds and bodies.

From The Back Of The Book:

Rocks, crystals, and stones are sentient and hold within themselves and energy that communes with us. They can heal and help, making our lives more livable in a most basic way. All we need to do is listen to what they have to say. Crystal Healing:  2012 And Beyond offers a comprehensive guide to discovering this new age resource.

My Thoughts:

This would be wonderful book for a naturopath or someone who is into healing naturally. I found a lot of the book hard to grasp. Some of the information was way too much for me to process, however there was some information that I found helpful and quite interesting. Such as when they gave the names of the crystals and how they help us heal and the colours of the rocks or crystals and how the colours can determine what type of help might be provided by the rocks or crystals.

My Rating:

Because I found this book hard to grasp at times and did a quick scan of much of the book until something caught my interest, I will need to give Crystal Healing:  2012 And Beyond by Barbara S. Delozier, Msc.D. a rating of 3***. I am interested in crystal healing so I may want to keep looking for a book that is written more for a layperson.
